About the role
- Analyze and assess claims through both open and closed file reviews
- Identify improvement opportunities and support development of solutions
- Liaise closely with senior managers to ensure stakeholders are aware of significant issues
- Conduct regular technical and best practice reviews with claims management
- Ensure closed files comply with pre-determined industry standards and Zurich’s internal benchmarks
- Support delivery of key business objectives
- Prepare draft manuals for claims procedures and contribute to policy developments
- Research, analyze, and provide recommendations on claims protocols
- Provide specialist advice to internal teams and support colleagues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of experience in a technical claims role OR High School Diploma and 6 or more years of experience in a technical claims role
- Knowledge of business and compliance practices in the insurance industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
