About the role
- Based in Frankfurt, you will be responsible for the German and Austrian cyber portfolios (including Tech PI) and for maintaining broker and client relationships in the mid-market and large-corporate segments
- You will ensure close collaboration with our distribution channels and coordinate interfaces with Operations, Finance and Claims
- You will independently negotiate and shape policy terms and clauses with relevant counterparties and contribute your expertise when assessing broker and competitor wordings as well as special program solutions
- As team lead you will manage your team both technically and as their line manager, actively promoting the continuous development of team members
- You will apply your expertise to drive projects in product development, digitalization and portfolio management
- You will support presentations at technical and sales events and prepare regular reports for the Head of Financial Lines & Cyber Underwriting and the Global Cyber Underwriting Manager
Requirements
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, combined with high resilience, assertiveness and strong team orientation
- Confident and professional demeanor with brokers and clients, and strong persuasive ability in technical wording discussions
- Deep underwriting and product expertise in cyber insurance
- Knowledge of IT professional indemnity (Tech PI) is an advantage
- Several years of experience in international insurance operations
- Leadership and/or project management experience is an advantage
- Degree in a technical, legal or business field
- Fluent German and English
