About the role
- Handle complex new and renewal domestic Large Property accounts
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the team
- Administer and monitor underwriting rules, laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, agents, and brokers
- Support sales culture by being a Help Point for agents and customers
- Proactively seek renewal and new account opportunities
- Complete detailed opportunity assessments with key distributors
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Underwriting or Market Facing area OR 10+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience working on time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business
- Experience in a team environment
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Technical knowledge of Large Property Underwriting
- Established broker relationships within the Western US region
- Creative problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
