About the role
- Direct, facilitate, and/or administer planning, execution, measurement, and reporting of technical underwriting learning and development initiatives
- Identify and respond to the learning needs of underwriters, creating timelines, agendas, goals and metrics
- Design, facilitate and/or participate in cross-functional training projects
- Ensure metrics and measures track progress, reflect business strategy, and identify further opportunities
- Facilitate the strategic and/or tactical business planning process
- Assess risks associated with training projects, ensuring risks are understood
- Ensure appropriate change management practices are utilized throughout the lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in Learning & Development, including delivery, assessment, and needs analysis
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in Learning & Development, including delivery, assessment, and needs analysis
- Strong technical underwriting experience in one or more lines of business
- Practical adult learning experience, including delivery, assessment, and needs analysis
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- Detailed and organized, with project management experience
- Knowledgeable of data gathering, analysis, and reporting
