About the role
- Manage Worker’s Compensation multi-party commercial line claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity
- Document claims file by accurately updating claims data/information
- Exercise judgment to determine compensability and policy verification
- Develop case strategy for timely resolution of claims
- Establish timely reserves and ongoing review throughout claims cycle
- Negotiate settlement of claims and assess damages
Requirements
- Bachelor degree and 3+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance area
- OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with associate degree and 3+ years of experience
- OR Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years of experience
- OR High School Diploma Equivalent and 5+ years of experience
- Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
- Microsoft Office experience
- Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products
