About the role
- Conducting litigation (with a focus on UVG objection and appeal proceedings, as well as civil litigation in other sectors)
- Engaging, instructing and supervising external counsel
- Providing legal and specialist advice
- Clarifying fundamental legal questions and assisting in ensuring consistency of legal doctrine (unité de doctrine)
- Issuing and updating legal guidelines for the Claims business unit
- Participating in and independently conducting internal and external training (preparation, presentations, documentation)
Requirements
- Law degree from a Swiss university and admission to the Swiss bar
- Professional experience in private practice (law firm), a service organization or an insurance company
- Bilingual: Italian and German, or Italian and French
- Highly resilient, proactive and committed individual with an independent and efficient working style
- Entrepreneurial and innovative thinker with a trustworthy character
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
