About the role
- At the Frankfurt location you will actively shape the further development and validation of the Internal Model, independently perform analyses (for example backtesting and reserve stress tests) and develop scenario analyses as part of the ORSA.
- Depending on your strengths and interests, you will also take on responsibility in project management, e.g. for major model changes or cross‑departmental initiatives.
- You will contribute to the preparation of the annual overall validation report and work in close technical coordination with international stakeholders, the Zurich Group, the Management Board and BaFin.
- As part of the Capital & Risk Modelling team at Zurich Insurance Europe AG (ZIE), you can apply and deepen your expertise and, over time, develop into coordination and project leadership roles.
- You will work in an international, open team and actively help shape the future of risk management at ZIE.
Requirements
- Analytical thinking and a structured, solution‑oriented working style
- High resilience and performance orientation
- Strong communication and self‑management skills
- Very good German and English skills, written and spoken (working language: English)
- Solid knowledge of risk modelling under Solvency II; actuarial additional qualifications such as Actuary, CERA or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) are an advantage
- Experience in project management is a plus
