About the role
- Manage attorneys handling Liability and Workers Compensation matters
- Prepare and try moderate to high exposure cases
- Provide coaching and feedback on complex matters
- Facilitate in-person connections and collaborative activities as needed
Requirements
- Juris Doctor
- 10 or more years of experience in the litigation area
- Significant first chair jury trial experience
- Active Member in good standing with the Florida State Bar
- Experience working with Lexis
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance defense litigation legal environment
- Familiarity with defense of personal injury and worker’s compensation claims
- Strong litigation experience and capabilities
- Ability to manage a staff of 7 attorneys and 3 paralegals
