About the role
- Supporting a portfolio of commercial and underwriting insurance applications
- Collaborating with the team and the Business to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Acting as a liaison between business and IT
- Supporting design, construction, and implementation of application updates
- Providing 2nd level production support for application(s)
- Requirements gathering, application and integration testing, implementation, and training activities
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree and 0 years of experience OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of insurance or business experience OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree
- SQL querying experience
- P&C insurance knowledge
- Agile and scrum methodology experience
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Ability to effectively manage changing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with change management tools/methodologies
- In-depth experience with testing scenarios execution
