About the role

  • Development and design of wiring harnesses in Altium Designer, including connector definition and signal routing
  • Analysis, design and documentation of avionics system architecture for current and future UAV platforms
  • Creation and maintenance of schematics, harness designs and system layouts
  • Close collaboration with mechanical, software and test teams to ensure holistic system integration
  • Mechanical integration of electronic assemblies, connectors and wiring harnesses, considering form, fit and function
  • Support during commissioning, troubleshooting and technical validation of avionics systems
  • Optional: involvement in PCB design and prototype manufacturing

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field
  • Solid experience with Altium Designer (schematic and harness design)
  • Experience in system architecture and integration of electronic subsystems in aircraft or similar applications
  • Knowledge of PCB design and ECAD/MCAD interfaces is a plus
  • Technical understanding of the mechanical integration of electronic components
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style with a strong quality focus
  • Strong communication skills in German and English and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
