About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the financial management of the company’s global asset base
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of capital projects and fixed assets
- Conduct variance analysis of actual results versus budget and forecast
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 360 – Property, Plant & Equipment) and company accounting policies
- Act as the subject matter expert on the utilization of the SAP fixed asset system/subledger
- Prepare and review monthly close activities including depreciation, impairment analysis, reconciliations, and rollforwards
- Support preparation of quarterly/annual financial statements, including footnote disclosures
- Maintain strong SOX-compliant controls around fixed asset processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, Treasury, Operations, FP&A, and External Reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years in public accounting, large organization, or publicly traded company
- Strong technical knowledge and experience applying GAAP
- Significant experience with PP&E and CapEx investments
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
