About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Hire and develop a high-performing sales engineering team
  • Refine sales engineering processes, including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept
  • Coach your team to success with developing comprehensive solution proposals and delivering succinct, impactful product demonstrations
  • Provide expert advice for requests for proposals (RFPs) and present recommendations to clients
  • Create influence through technical whiteboarding and impactful presentations to your customers and their leadership teams with a keen eye on the personas in the room

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
  • 5+ years of experience in technical, customer-facing roles
  • 2+ years of experience directly leading and managing technical teams
  • Deep technical expertise and proven experience selling network security technologies such as SSL/web technologies, proxies, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPNs, DLP, and end-user monitoring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
