About the role
- Working closely with our product engineering teams to set infrastructure standards to support our SaaS products
- Understanding and contributing to our cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, backend systems, and building and maintaining multi-cloud container environments using Kubernetes
- Encouraging a strong DevOps culture that prioritizes collaboration, automation and continuous improvement
- Maintaining and creating internal tooling for engineers to enable a consistent experience across product teams and make onboarding as efficient as possible
- Participating in an on call rotation within the Engineering department
Requirements
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and IT automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt)
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, GCP, or Azure) and cloud networking (e.g., VPC design, DNS, VPNs)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration (e.g., Helm, Docker), and CI/CD tools (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
