About the role
- Automate manual processes
- Work cross-functionally to configure HL7 connections
- Troubleshoot connection issues and other complications
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal Zotec employees as well as Zotec clients
- Analyze and manipulate data by writing and running SQL queries
- Analyze logs to identify and prevent potential issues from occurring
- Utilize Javascript/SQL knowledge to write custom processes and modify data files
- Develop custom interfaces and extracts from SQL Data
- Create custom Reporting methods using Mirth Connect
- Maintain Mirth Connect system by addressing failures/errors, and upgrades, in addition to allocating system resources
- Complete all other duties as assigned
- Participate in the on-call rotation and address on call items timely and to resolution
Requirements
- 5-7 Years’ experience in healthcare integration
- Knowledge and understanding of file structure for analysis (HL7, EDI x12, Image formats, Excel, OCR)
- Interface engine experience required; Mirth preferred
- Experience utilizing SQL, including writing and running queries, to analyze data
- Experience using Javascript to transform data
- Experience operating in a change control environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Flexible mentality; willing and capable of performing varied tasks and adapting to change in a team environment
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in informatics or related field preferred
- Professionally exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work
- Participate in the on-call rotation and address on call items timely and to resolution
