About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set the design direction for Spend
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of Product Designers
- Stay hands-on in design on complex initiatives
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Researchers
- Champion high standards of design craft, accessibility and inclusive design
- Balance customer needs, commercial goals and technical constraints
- Collaborate across Savings, Borrowing, Platform and Design Systems
- Contribute to the growth of the wider Design team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced Product Designer with a strong portfolio
- Led or managed designers before
- Comfortable defining strategy and crafting user experiences
- Experience designing native mobile products, ideally in fintech or banking
- Designing for accessibility, inclusion and Consumer Duty
- Excellent collaboration across Product, Engineering and Research
- Comfortable working with design systems
