About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the strategic direction for valuations modelling across the business
Oversee development of account-level NPV models across multiple lending products
Lead and develop a team of analysts and data scientists
Partner with stakeholders across analytics, credit strategy, finance, product and risk
Improve and simplify existing valuation frameworks where appropriate
Drive the evolution of the bank’s valuations capability and roadmap
Champion technical best practice across Python based modelling workflows
Support strategic projects including new product launches and portfolio activity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience leading valuations within retail lending
Managed and developed high-performing teams
Comfortable working with Python based modelling environments
Deep experience with valuation and NPV modelling
Strong stakeholder manager who can influence senior audiences
Combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with high impact
Strong analytical and commercial judgement
Experience across multiple lending products (Added bonus)
Experience leveraging valuations within decisioning pipelines (Added bonus)
Exposure to machine learning approaches within credit or valuations modelling (Added bonus)
Experience in fintech or fast-growing lending businesses (Added bonus)
