About the role
- Partner with engineering teams to help them adopt new platforms and ways of working
- Support the rollout of tools like CI/CD pipelines and observability platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and shape adoption plans
- Contribute to building internal tools that improve developer workflows
- Help document and communicate best practices across engineering
- Work closely with senior engineers to learn, grow and deliver impact
- Play an active role in improving how engineering works across the organisation
Requirements
- You communicate clearly and bring energy to every conversation
- Building strong relationships across teams comes naturally to you
- At least one programming language is already in your toolkit
- Understanding the “why” behind software matters to you, not just the “how”
- Taking initiative, asking questions, and owning your growth is part of your approach
- Learning new tools and technologies is something you actively embrace
- A genuine interest in software engineering and developer tooling drives you
- Hands-on experience working with Golang (added bonus)
- Some familiarity with observability tools like Honeycomb, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana (added bonus)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab (added bonus)
- Practical exposure to Kubernetes environments (added bonus)
- An understanding of developer productivity or platform tooling (added bonus)
