About the role
- Develop the partnership pipeline for loans, cards and car finance, originating new opportunities using LinkedIn, network, events, etc.
- Qualify leads including assessing commercial size of opportunities
- Run weekly sales meetings to track pipeline and priorities
- Book and lead partnership meetings presenting Zopa’s USPs and shaping opportunities
- Lead development of partnership pitches with design and marketing
- Lead contractual and commercial negotiations for secured partnerships
- Define scope of partnerships with partners and internal stakeholders
- Lead delivery of new partnership relationships: project plans, roles, monitoring
- Complete change governance required for delivering new partnerships
- Manage ongoing partner relationships focusing on growth with product teams
Requirements
- Experience launching partnerships that have delivered strong customer and commercial results
- Ability to adapt communication style and build relationships quickly
- Tenacity and persistence
- Comfortable working in fast paced environments and 'rolling up sleeves'
- Customer orientated mindset: ensure partnerships meet genuine customer needs
- Likely experience in partnerships, commercial negotiations, and stakeholder management (originations product teams, risk/compliance, design, marketing, operations, data analytics, credit decisioning)
