💰 $90 - $115 per hour
About the role
- Applies standard engineering techniques (Good Design Practices) and procedures to the design, development, and enhancement of new and currently marketed medical devices
- Designs, tests, and documents new circuitry as well as modifies existing circuitry in systems and subsystems
- Works closely with other electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to design, develop, and support complete systems and subsystems
- Works with outside vendors and contractors as required to accomplish tasks
- Support Manufacturing and Quality Assurance groups as required to debug or improve existing designs
Requirements
- BSEE degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of electrical engineering and product design experience
- Experience in medical or other highly regulated industry is strongly desired
- Experience with electrical engineering test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.
