About the role

  • Manage the Central Division of the Respiratory Care Hospital Ventilation Team (currently 6 Territory Managers and 3 Clinical Reps reporting)
  • Achieve hardware and disposable Team Sales quotas as assigned
  • Hire, educate, retain and promote talented sales people
  • Drive new business opportunities and maintain an adequate sales pipeline
  • Develop Territory Managers through coaching and positive reinforcement
  • Communicate, implement, and monitor the Ventilator Sales Team Strategic Plan
  • Lead by example; motivate and inspire the team
  • Maintain organized account records and account profiles in Salesforce.com
  • Provide reports as required (weekly expense reports, monthly and quarterly forecasts, activity reporting)
  • Ensure Territory Managers provide required reports
  • Maintain and track demo and evaluation inventory and document use in Salesforce.com; ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Be financially responsible for equipment assigned to Territory Managers
  • Spend an average of three days per week working in the field and travel regularly with team members
  • Analyze and report on trends observed within the team
  • Perform other projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related sales experience or ZOLL experience
  • Knowledge of ZOLL and competitive products
  • Strategic and customer oriented selling skills
  • Professional and ethical behavior and character
  • Organizational/Territory Time Management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic technical and clinical knowledge to speak competently about ZOLL products
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Experience maintaining account records and activity reporting in Salesforce.com
  • Willingness to spend an average of three days per week working in the field and travel quarterly with Territory Managers
