About the role
- Manage the Central Division of the Respiratory Care Hospital Ventilation Team (currently 6 Territory Managers and 3 Clinical Reps reporting)
- Achieve hardware and disposable Team Sales quotas as assigned
- Hire, educate, retain and promote talented sales people
- Drive new business opportunities and maintain an adequate sales pipeline
- Develop Territory Managers through coaching and positive reinforcement
- Communicate, implement, and monitor the Ventilator Sales Team Strategic Plan
- Lead by example; motivate and inspire the team
- Maintain organized account records and account profiles in Salesforce.com
- Provide reports as required (weekly expense reports, monthly and quarterly forecasts, activity reporting)
- Ensure Territory Managers provide required reports
- Maintain and track demo and evaluation inventory and document use in Salesforce.com; ensure equipment is in good working order
- Be financially responsible for equipment assigned to Territory Managers
- Spend an average of three days per week working in the field and travel regularly with team members
- Analyze and report on trends observed within the team
- Perform other projects as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of related sales experience or ZOLL experience
- Knowledge of ZOLL and competitive products
- Strategic and customer oriented selling skills
- Professional and ethical behavior and character
- Organizational/Territory Time Management skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic technical and clinical knowledge to speak competently about ZOLL products
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Experience maintaining account records and activity reporting in Salesforce.com
- Willingness to spend an average of three days per week working in the field and travel quarterly with Territory Managers
