About the role
- Implement the compensation strategy and administer global compensation programs in compliance with policies and regulations
- Assist designing and building an innovative, competitive, and analytically driven global compensation structure
- Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges
- Gather data from market-based compensation surveys and analyze results and market trends
- Evaluate and implement job analysis instruments and materials
- Partner with Legal to evaluate roles for FLSA compliance
- Oversee participation in and use of salary surveys and recommend comp positioning
- Perform market analysis, job evaluations, and workforce classification projects
- Audit job descriptions for correct job family and level assignment
- Plan and manage compensation program administration, automation, and projects
- Respond to compensation-related questions from managers, HR business partners, and recruiters
- Prepare training content and assist in delivery for HR, business leaders, and employees
- Perform ad hoc analysis and continuous improvement of compensation programs
- Comply with all policies and standards; other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, or a related field required
- At least five years of compensation or human resources experience
- Strong understanding of broad-based compensation programs (base/bonus/LTI), pay for performance, benchmarking/market data, job evaluation
- Solid understanding of FLSA classification and ability to make determinations
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Workday experience a plus
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Ability to build relationships of trust and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of business contacts
