Visit ZOLL customers and accounts in the field to ensure continuity of provision of ZOLL’s medical devices for clinically appropriate cases
Determine independently and work collaboratively with office staff/healthcare provider to bring patient’s case to attention and advise providers or staff
Prioritize competing objectives based on clinical acumen and knowledge of ZOLL devices
Utilize individualized analysis and the Plan of Care to advise on next level of care and device role
Collaborate with ZOLL TM/RM and other departments (National Accounts) to ensure appropriate service level and payer efficiencies
Maintain working knowledge of payor requirements and ensure compliance to increase reimbursement realization
Ensure timely processing of required documentation to prevent service delays and protect recurring revenue
Provide ongoing education and training to hospital and office staff on device order requirements and workflows
Responsible for improved claims billing yield within assigned geography and eligibility for potential bonus incentives
Assist with departmental projects and special tasks (e.g., Pilot Teams)
Achieve and maintain acceptable performance metrics
Comply with Standard Operating Procedures and HIPAA; participate in other reasonable work activities as assigned by management
Requirements
High School Diploma /GED required
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience in sales
Healthcare/Medical Device (Clinical or Billing) experience preferred
Experienced ability to navigate hospital and clinic/practice environments (hospital flow, document collection, provider and patient interaction)
Proficient working knowledge of MS Office (including Power BI, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with Customer Relationship Management systems (Salesforce.com, Dynamics) preferred
Valid driver's license
Ability to proactively plan and work autonomously while collaborating closely with others
High sense of urgency and flexibility to one’s schedule
Superior organizational skills with ability to multi-task
Problem-solving mentality and accountability for tasks from beginning to end
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 80% within a defined geography
Ability to work atypical hours (evenings and weekends) as needed
Working knowledge of applicable healthcare-related regulations, particularly HIPAA
