About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide onsite support to veterinary practices, laboratory research, and veterinary academic settings
  • Support implementation, training, operation, applications, and problem resolution for veterinary diagnostics products
  • Improve diagnostic workflows and increase product utilization
  • Identify new equipment and consumable opportunities
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer partnerships and account plans
  • Analyze territory and customer sales and growth opportunities to support sales targets
  • Track veterinary practice performance and implement clinic workflow processes
  • Maintain customer information and call reports in the CRM system
  • Deliver customer calls according to KPIs, coverage, and frequency requirements
  • Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex system problems
  • Deliver formal and informal product guidance, instruction, and training
  • Develop in-practice diagnostic champions
  • Install and validate products and provide applications and operations training
  • Ensure staff competency sign-off and train new staff within eight weeks of joining a practice
  • Coordinate with colleagues to improve customer understanding and use of products, services, and pricing
  • Record call activity and execute timely follow-up plans
  • Maintain business conduct, compliance, and accurate records
  • Manage the allocated customer support budget

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • MVZ, QFB, IBT, or engineering education
  • Veterinarian or qualified Veterinary Nurse background
  • Experience as a medical field sales representative, animal health industry employee, or customer-facing employee
  • Intermediate–Advanced English level
  • Strong presentation skills for conveying technical information
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
  • Effective organizational and planning skills
  • Strong understanding of diagnostics operations, functions, applications, training requirements, and workflow processes
  • Basic knowledge of diagnostic products, instrumentation, and clinic processes
  • Willingness and commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong sales ability
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
