About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve assigned revenue, market share, and sales production goals for one or more hotel properties.
  • Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to identify, solicit, and secure new corporate, group, catering, and business transient accounts.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to maximize account production, repeat business, and revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, hotel site tours, and networking activities to generate leads and close business.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, proposals, and rate agreements in compliance with company policies and brand standards.
  • Maintain account information, sales activities, and pipeline management in Delphi.fdc/Amadeus CRM.
  • Represent properties using knowledge of operations, competitive positioning, revenue strategies, and brand initiatives.
  • Monitor account performance and production trends, adjusting strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Respond to RFPs and use brand sales platforms to secure opportunities.
  • Assist with annual Sales & Marketing Plans, market action plans, and promotional initiatives.
  • Monitor local market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director of Sales, Revenue Management, and hotel leadership teams.
  • Travel between assigned hotels, client locations, networking events, and trade shows; occasionally support evening or weekend client events.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of hotel sales experience required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence decision-makers, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned hotels, client locations, and industry events.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to operate computers, phones, and office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally overnight.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Multi-property or branded hotel experience preferred.
