About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the strategy and execution of initiatives that drive growth across ZipRecruiter's SMB employer customer base
- Focus on new employer acquisition, employer reactivation, and strategic partnerships
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Sales to optimize the employer acquisition journey
- Improve re-engagement, and build scalable product experiences that drive new paying employers and long-term customer growth
- Take full accountability for your product domain
- Direct the product roadmap for your aspects of the SMB product to improve customer value
- Experiment frequently with new ideas to supercharge our PLG motion
- Have a deep understanding of the metrics that drive your product area
- Coordinate with the GTM team to ensure the product-led growth motion ties into marketing and sales
- Serve as the voice of the SMB customer to the rest of the team, constantly talking to your users and conducting user research
- Lean into ZipRecruiter’s AI-first DNA to build personalized, proactive experiences
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of proven success in product management, with a record of delivering results
- You are a data-obsessed problem solver who doesn't just look at dashboards but interrogates the "why" behind the numbers.
- Deep experience building business-facing products at scale
- You understand how to leverage Machine Learning to solve user problems and have experience building AI-powered product features.
- You have a passion for speaking directly with your users and personally conducting user research.
- You are a "smart generalist" who can be thrown at any complex problem—whether it’s a technical architectural hurdle or a brand-new market opportunity—and figure it out.
- You are highly driven and thrive in an environment where you are given the autonomy to drive massive impact.
