About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the pricing learning agenda: design rate-elasticity experiments, segmentation, result interpretation, and rollout recommendations
- Design, in partnership with Portfolio Management and Product, payment gamification policies: reward rules by behavior, eligibility criteria, anti-fraud guardrails, and cohort impact evaluation
- Support risk calibration for new products by adjusting risk appetite and credit policies according to direct-debit enrollment
- Monitor adjacent pricing initiatives, such as new segmentations, when they intersect with pricing and profitability
- Run end-to-end tests: hypothesis, design, stakeholder alignment (Credit, Data Science, Product, Payments, Collections), implementation specifications, monitoring, and rollout recommendation
- Work with Data Science to prioritize and evaluate models that feed pricing decisions, defining objectives and success criteria from a business perspective
- Produce analyses and materials that support pricing and gamification decisions, communicating clearly to both technical and business audiences, including leaders across other areas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong SQL skills; comfortable navigating large datasets
- Experience leading price tests or risk-policy experiments (design, execution, analysis, and rollout recommendation)
- Applied statistics for experimentation (A/B testing, holdouts, statistical significance)
- Experience with pricing, profitability, unit economics, and payback
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple areas
- Ownership and autonomy to propose a project’s success metric, not only execute it
- Clear communicator for both technical and business audiences
- Python and familiarity with data versioning (desirable)
- Experience with credit models or alternative data (e.g., Open Finance) (desirable)
- Experience with incentive/gamification mechanisms in financial or consumer products (desirable)
