About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Negotiate, review and structure strategic contracts, with a focus on financial operations, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) and payment methods;
- Support regulatory issues related to the Central Bank, CVM, FIDCs and licensing before the Central Bank;
- Advise Product, Operations, Finance, People and Commercial teams on day-to-day legal decisions;
- Support privacy and data protection initiatives (LGPD);
- Participate in building and evolving internal processes, policies and legal governance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Between 6 and 9 years of experience;
- Active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association);
- Fluent English;
- Proven experience negotiating corporate contracts, preferably involving financial products, BaaS or payment methods;
- Experience providing legal advisory (in-house/consultative) to different business areas;
- Knowledge of regulation applicable to financial institutions, payment providers or the capital markets (Central Bank and/or CVM);
- Hands-on profile, with autonomy, pragmatism and excellent ability to communicate with non-legal teams.
- It is a plus if you have:
- Experience in fintechs, banks, payment institutions, SCDs, asset managers, securitization companies;
- Experience with FIDC operations or structures;
- Participation in authorization or supervision processes with the Central Bank;
- Experience with LGPD and privacy programs;
- Experience coordinating external law firms.
