About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of construction projects using project management tools, processes, and methodologies
  • Serve as the point of contact for project organization and timelines
  • Provide status updates across all ongoing projects
  • Create short- and long-term plans, set milestone targets, and adhere to deadlines
  • Coordinate and host regular meetings for communication, alignment, information sharing, and best-practice implementation
  • Ensure team members have the information and resources needed to perform their tasks
  • Own and remain accountable for project delivery
  • Perform risk assessments and resolve or escalate issues to minimize schedule and quality impacts
  • Coordinate internal team action items and realistic timelines to meet business goals
  • Gather and provide lessons learned, best practices, and process/tool innovations
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure timely project completion
  • Drive processes and automation supporting LEAN approaches
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide streamlined reports to leadership
  • Perform other duties required to support the business and evolving organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum five (5) years of telecommunications experience or equivalent project management experience
  • Experience managing large-scale projects
  • Demonstrated experience meeting project commitment deadlines
  • Familiarity with Outside Plant (OSP) architectures, including underground, direct buried, aerial, and building applications
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe
  • Understanding of LEAN concepts
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Ability to influence others to meet project objectives
  • Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work within critical deadlines
  • Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
