About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the strategic recruiting partner for Zipline's Autonomy, Fullstack, and Marketplace software engineering teams, partnering closely with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies that align with business priorities, organizational design, and long-term growth.
  • Own the full lifecycle recruiting process from engaging top talent through offer acceptance, driving exceptional candidate experiences while maintaining an uncompromising bar for technical excellence and long-term success.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing and talent engagement strategies, leveraging deep knowledge of the competitive software engineering talent landscape to identify and attract exceptional candidates who not only have the right technical skills, but who will strengthen their teams and thrive at Zipline.
  • Influence hiring decisions through market insights, talent intelligence, thoughtful calibration, and data-driven recommendations, serving as a trusted advisor to executives and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Build and cultivate diverse, high-quality talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, ensuring Zipline can continue to scale world-class engineering organizations.
  • Continuously improve hiring outcomes by partnering with interviewers and leaders to strengthen assessment quality, reduce friction in the recruiting process, and elevate hiring practices across the organization.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Zipline's talent function by sharing best practices, improving recruiting operations, mentoring teammates, and helping raise the bar for recruiting excellence.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, with a strong track record of hiring exceptional software engineering talent.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior engineering leaders to develop and execute hiring strategies for critical technical organizations.
  • Deep understanding of the competitive software engineering talent landscape, with exceptional judgment in identifying candidates who not only have the right technical skills, but who will elevate their teams and thrive at Zipline.
  • Exceptional sourcing, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust, challenge assumptions, and drive alignment across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen, excellent communication and prioritization skills, and a data-informed approach to decision making.
  • A high degree of ownership, bias for action, and passion for building diverse, high-performing teams while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
