Business Development Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prospect and build relationships with landlords, property managers, and commercial real estate owners across your respective market and surrounding areas
- Execute multi-channel outreach (phone, email, in-person meetings, networking events) to introduce Zipline’s Dropbox program and its benefits for property value, tenant attraction, and community convenience
- Craft compelling, data-driven pitches and presentations tailored to real estate decision-makers, highlighting property performance opportunities and sustainability advantages
- Own the full deal cycle: from initial outreach and site evaluations to contract negotiations, permitting support, and successful Dropbox placement
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Real Estate, Operations, Permitting, and Sales/Customer Success) to ensure smooth onboarding and activation of new locations
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective properties and track progress toward network expansion targets
- Stay current on local zoning, real estate trends, and drone-delivery regulations to position Zipline as the preferred partner
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of full-cycle sales or business development experience (field sales, real estate leasing, or partnership development preferred)
- Proven track record of building trusted relationships and closing complex deals with senior decision-makers
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate, shopping center operations, or retail property management is a big plus
- Comfortable with cold outreach, in-person meetings, and territory ownership
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Passion for technology, sustainability, and the future of logistics
