About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end design for key product areas — discovery, wireframing, prototyping, and final UI.
- Define user problems, map flows, and shape information architecture to create clear, usable experiences.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, product analytics, and post-launch insights.
- Help shape the design practices and conventions that set how design happens at Zipliens as the team grows.
- Partner closely with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into intuitive, well-crafted experiences.
- Conduct and synthesize user research to inform design decisions.
- Work with Operations and other internal stakeholders to understand how the product is used and where it can serve them better.
- Build out and evolve our Figma design system — components, patterns, and conventions that scale with the product.
- Leverage AI tools for ideation, content generation, and research synthesis — without losing the design thinking that makes the work good.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of product/UX design experience, ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment.
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end product thinking, not just visual polish — including how you framed problems, made trade-offs, measured impact, and connected user needs to business outcomes.
- Deep Figma proficiency — components, auto layout, prototyping, dev handoff, and AI-assisted features — with a habit of reaching for the right tool at the right time.
- Solid grasp of UX fundamentals: information architecture, interaction design, accessibility.
- Comfortable using product analytics tools to validate design decisions.
- Experience designing scalable flows and patterns — including the edge cases that show up in complex products — and validating through testing and iteration.
- Strong communication skills and a track record of explaining design choices and bringing cross-functional partners along.
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift, and structure is still being built.
