Senior Product Designer, Procure to Pay

Zip

Product Designer managing PO Management & Virtual Cards for Zip's procurement platform. Collaborating with PMs and engineers while shaping innovative AI-assisted workflows.

Posted 7/7/2026full-timeSan Francisco • California • 🇺🇸 United StatesSenior💰 $160,000 - $220,000 per yearWebsite

About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end experience for PO management: creation, change orders, alerts, and the dashboards enterprises run their spend on.
  • Partner closely with your PM and engineers to brainstorm, define, and implement new features and offerings, from PO workflows to the team's first agents.
  • Design the full virtual card lifecycle: issuing, spending, coding, reconciliation, and the hard states (declines, disputes, failed payments) where user trust is won or lost.
  • Shape the team's first agent experiences, to streamline and expedite mundane workflows. Your work will be grounded in structured procurement data, and you’ll create automation experiences that users can verify and trust.
  • Run your own research: get in front of customers through our SE, CS, and Sales partners, and test your work with the AP teams and requesters who live in these flows.
  • Participate in regular design reviews with the broader design team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of experience designing complex B2B or workflow products; procurement, payments, or fintech experience is a plus.
  • Experience shipping at least one full product or significant feature end to end as the lead designer.
  • Experience running your own research: finding the right customers, asking the right questions, and turning what you hear into design decisions.
  • Experience iterating closely with engineers on both UX and visual design to get the details just right.
  • A point of view: you can defend design decisions with PMs and engineers, and change your mind when the evidence says you should.
  • Curiosity about designing AI-assisted workflows; you don't need to have shipped an agent, but you should want to.
  • Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools.
  • Understanding of the technical constraints of building web applications.
