About the role
- Act as a trusted advisor, product consultant, and closer to deliver ROI in renewals and upsells
- Partner with Customer Success to monitor health scorecards and identify customer needs
- Evangelize and solution Zip to meet current and future product needs
- Contribute to building team culture and sales processes at a startup
- Negotiate all facets of renewal contracts to maximize value while enhancing customer relationships
- Engage the broader Zip team to provide updates on renewal status and escalate when needed
- Manage customers on multi-year contracts to ensure value realization
- Become a product and procurement expert and demo-readily present the Zip platform
- Use sales intelligence and engagement tools to prospect, manage deal cycles, and bring on customers
- Be adaptable and help shape the sales process in a hyper-growth environment
Requirements
- 2+ years of technology SaaS experience
- Experience selling to procurement, finance, legal
- Experience driving customer retention and adoption of a SaaS product for enterprise accounts
- Customer management skills; including sales, Account management, and customer service
- Self-driven – you don’t need someone to motivate you to put in your best every day
- You’d describe yourself as organized, efficient with your time, and an excellent communicator
- Experience using tools like Salesforce, Clari, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach
- Willing to go the extra mile to make sure our customers, company, team, and yourself succeed
