About the role

  • Own the User Experience: Lead the UX strategy across our product, from user research to wireframes, prototypes, and final visual design.
  • Simplify the Complex: Translate legal and AI workflows into clear, usable, and intuitive interfaces.
  • Design Systems: Create and maintain a scalable design system that reflects Zlayt AI’s product vision and brand identity.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with engineers, legal experts, and product leads to align on solutions that are technically feasible and user-friendly.
  • Validate with Users: Conduct user interviews, testing sessions, and iterate on designs based on real feedback.
  • Ship Quickly: Help us move fast and deliver user-first improvements without sacrificing quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in SaaS, B2B, or legal/enterprise products.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, problem-solving, and polished interfaces.
  • Comfort with low-to-high fidelity design processes (wireframes to prototypes to polished UI).
  • Experience simplifying complex workflows (legal, finance, AI, or similar industries a plus).
  • Bonus: Experience in AI/ML applications, legal tech, or designing for professionals in high-stakes environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-moving startup.
