About the role
- Monitor website activity using tools like Warmly and DreamData and reach out to prospects in real-time
- Act as the “face of Zinc” — handle inbound queries via the hello inbox, chat, and contact forms
- Proactively engage warm leads, create personalised outbound sequences, and book demos
- Spot opportunities and hand prospects to the right SDR when needed
- Write clear, engaging messages and email sequences to nurture leads
- Balance multiple priorities — spin plates, problem-solve, and keep momentum high
- Bring energy and personality to the team culture
- Learn and work across demand generation, prospect engagement, and growth marketing in a fast-scaling environment
Requirements
- Strong written English
- Confident communicator (email, chat, real-time prospect engagement)
- Commercial awareness — you’ve done something beyond study (e.g. sales, fundraising, customer-facing roles, high-level sport)
- Grit, determination, and high energy
- Emotional intelligence — kind, empathetic, and a team player
- Integrity and trustworthiness — knowing when to hand over leads to SDRs
- Coachability — able to take feedback and improve fast
- Ability to juggle priorities and think on your feet
- Nice to have: Experience in a commercial role (SDR, BDR, customer success, fundraising, hospitality management)
- Nice to have: Understanding of B2B SaaS or marketing
- Nice to have: Familiarity with tools like HubSpot or Warmly (not required — training provided)
- Nice to have: A natural “plate spinner” — someone who thrives with lots of moving parts
