About the role

  • **Outline of the job**
  • Use Pulsar to conduct day-to-day social media listening and digital media monitoring across Central and Eastern Europe
  • Track trending narratives, emerging topics, and audience reactions across multiple platforms and markets
  • Build, maintain, and refine search queries, dashboards, and keyword sets to ensure accurate and consistent monitoring
  • Analyse conversation volume, engagement, and high-level sentiment to identify notable changes or spikes in activity
  • Produce clear, well-structured weekly insight summaries highlighting key developments, risks, and opportunities
  • Supplement paid tools with free and native platform tools to validate trends and deepen contextual understanding
  • Flag emerging issues or reputational risks and escalate them appropriately
  • Work closely with communications and creative teams to ensure insights are relevant, timely, and usable

Requirements

  • **What we need from you…**
  • - Proven experience in digital media monitoring, social listening, or media analysis, ideally in a communications, insights, or agency environment
  • - Interest in regional politics, culture, media, or digital trends in CEE
  • - Understanding of hostile state influence and understanding of Eastern and Central
  • - Hands-on experience using Pulsar for social listening and trend analysis, with the ability to build and refine searches and dashboards
  • - Strong understanding of social media platforms and online news ecosystems, particularly across Central and Eastern Europe
  • - Ability to interpret data and conversation patterns and translate them into clear, concise written summaries
  • - Demonstrated experience conducting digital insight analysis across multiple languages using monitoring and research tools is required; specific language proficiency in Central and Eastern European languages is an advantage, but not essential.
  • - High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage ongoing monitoring and weekly reporting
  • - Comfortable working collaboratively with creative strategists
  • - Excellent writing skills, including written reports in Word and presentations in PowerPoint
  • - SC security clearance preferred
