About the role
- Work in conjunction with a Sales Representative or Senior Sales Representative to maintain and grow business with current prescribers and deliver expected sales results for a specific list of surgeons or accounts in the assigned territory
- Develop strong relationships with surgeon customers and accounts to consistently maintain and grow business
- Call on and close business with specified surgeon and/or account target list; consistently follow up and service surgeons and accounts regularly
- Submit electronic orders and supporting documentation through the required platform and provide accurate and relevant sales projections
- Provide excellent customer support to accounts, surgeons, and their patients; meet patients in the office or conduct virtual fittings & applications of prescribed device(s) and record applications on required platform
- Maintain high level of technical expertise and sales proficiency; adhere to laws, SOPs, and product labeling in promotion and support of products
- Report to the Area Sales Manager or Regional Sales Director; manage product inventory and timely report product complaints and approved expenses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of dental or sales experience
- Will consider other commensurate education and experience
- Ability to quickly and efficiently become proficient in articulating and promoting applicable technology and product information based on labeling
- Basic understanding and demonstrated use of a consultative sales model(s)
- Proven track-record of building strong interpersonal business relationships
- Understanding and utilization of insurance reimbursement and payer criteria
- Proficiency with internet utilization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM preferred
- Ability to meet patients in the office or conduct virtual fittings & applications according to product labeling
- Ability to travel up to 95% (predominantly by car); 0% to 20% overnight stays and air travel may be required
- Commitment to complete Z-Learn LMS training courses on time
- Timely and comprehensive reporting of product complaints, approved company expenses, and consistent product inventory management
