About the role

  • Work in conjunction with a Sales Representative or Senior Sales Representative to maintain and grow business with current prescribers in assigned territory
  • Develop strong relationships with surgeon customers and accounts to maintain and grow business
  • Call on and close business with specified surgeon and/or account target list
  • Consistently follow up and service surgeons and accounts regularly
  • Submit electronic orders and supporting documentation through the required platform
  • Provide excellent customer support to accounts, surgeons, and their patients
  • Meet patients in office or conduct virtual fittings & applications of prescribed device(s) according to product labeling
  • Record the application of device(s) and associated components/accessories on required platform after each fitting
  • Develop and maintain high level of technical expertise and sales proficiency
  • Provide and submit accurate and relevant sales projections regularly
  • Report to the Area Sales Manager or Regional Sales Director
  • Adhere to laws, industry standards, company policies, and SOPs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 1+ years of dental or sales experience
  • Will consider other commensurate education and experience
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently become proficient in product technology and labeling
  • Basic understanding and demonstrated use of a consultative sales model(s)
  • Proven track-record of building strong interpersonal business relationships
  • Demonstrated use of SMART goals and Strategic Territory Planning
  • Proficiency with internet utilization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM preferred
  • Understanding and utilization of insurance reimbursement and payer criteria
  • Commitment to complete Z-Learn LMS training courses on time
  • Timely and comprehensive reporting of product complaints and approved expenses
  • Consistent and accurate product inventory management
  • Ability to meet patients in-office or conduct virtual fittings & applications
  • Willingness to travel up to 95% (predominantly by car); possible 0-20% overnight/air travel
