About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintains operational excellence of Seaspan’s live business systems
Provides end-user support and responds to user needs
Analyzes information from different sources for solutions
Produces incident reports and troubleshooting knowledge articles
Provides emergency production support and solutions
Assists in executing test scripts for UAT
Facilitates user workshops and supports change management activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or Post-secondary Diploma in Computer Science
3 - 5 years of related work experience (systems analysis, application development and support, operations support, service desk)
2-3 years of technical experience with programming languages, database administration, and server administration
Experience in supporting at least one core operations process such as order to invoice, procure to pay, etc.
Experience in developing and maintaining interfaces for on-premise and SaaS applications preferred
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of troubleshooting principles and methodologies
Technical knowledge of programming languages and relational databases, such as .Net, Java, C#, SharePoint, Oracle and SQL Server.
