About the role
- Support setup and management of the business toolset Co-Console across projects JSS, OOSV and Polar
- Support setup of project Completions data structure within Co-Console and development of base functionality for Polar project server
- Implement new capability and functionality requests from end users and manage emergent issues
- Assist Ship Completions Planning Manager with documenting business processes and ensuring capture in business QMS
- Work closely with vendor (Prometheus) to raise and manage support, bug fix, or feature request tickets and ensure timely closure
- Support Quality and Acceptance team in gathering OQE data and preparing handover documentation
- Develop training material for End Users and Power Users and deliver training
- Manage system access, security and permissions and liaise with BTS team
- Support data cleanup activities with Engineering and Data Analytics teams following established procedures
Requirements
- Diploma or Technical certification in Trades or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 - 3 years’ experience working within a Shipbuilding environment
- Specific understanding of Co-Console/Completions Management Systems, Quality Control, Production, Test & Trials and/or Acceptance processes
- Excellent computer skills including experience with Co-Console/Completions Management Systems and MS Suite of tools
- Experience or understanding of data structures/analytics is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Deadline focused to ensure critical deliverables are met
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity and integrity
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
