About the role

  • Support setup and management of the business toolset Co-Console across projects JSS, OOSV and Polar
  • Support setup of project Completions data structure within Co-Console and development of base functionality for Polar project server
  • Implement new capability and functionality requests from end users and manage emergent issues
  • Assist Ship Completions Planning Manager with documenting business processes and ensuring capture in business QMS
  • Work closely with vendor (Prometheus) to raise and manage support, bug fix, or feature request tickets and ensure timely closure
  • Support Quality and Acceptance team in gathering OQE data and preparing handover documentation
  • Develop training material for End Users and Power Users and deliver training
  • Manage system access, security and permissions and liaise with BTS team
  • Support data cleanup activities with Engineering and Data Analytics teams following established procedures

Requirements

  • Diploma or Technical certification in Trades or Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience working within a Shipbuilding environment
  • Specific understanding of Co-Console/Completions Management Systems, Quality Control, Production, Test & Trials and/or Acceptance processes
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with Co-Console/Completions Management Systems and MS Suite of tools
  • Experience or understanding of data structures/analytics is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Deadline focused to ensure critical deliverables are met
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
