About the role

Lead the architectural design and development efforts for complex software projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business goals.
Assess and refine existing architectures, implementing enhancements to improve scalability and performance.
Guide and mentor the technical team, providing insights and best practices for system design and development.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into architectural strategies to enhance product offerings.
Spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions that drive the company's technological advancements.
Report directly to the CTO and work closely with engineering leadership.

10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in an architect or principal engineer role.
Proficiency in Java, Python, and TypeScript, with hands-on knowledge across backend, frontend, and data systems.
Hands‑on experience with public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers/Kubernetes, and IaC (e.g., Terraform).
Deep experience designing cloud-native SaaS applications (preferably on AWS or Azure).
Strong understanding of microservices, APIs (REST/GraphQL), event-driven design, and distributed systems.
Expertise in data modeling, integration, and API-first design.
Solid grounding in scalability, performance tuning, and system security.
Experience guiding and mentoring technical teams and providing architectural best practices.
Ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and industry trends.
