About the role
- Ad creation: You will be handed a spreadsheet brief that contains the explicit requirements for the ad, this includes the ad copy, images, audience, placement, objective and budget
- Ad research: At times we will need to look for inspiration and provide thoughts and insights on potential future ads
- This can also include ad copy creation for Google and keyword research for the various match types
- Ad reporting: There is a reporting framework we adhere to on a weekly basis and you will be required to fill in the numbers to identify gaps in campaigns or opportunities to grow
- Ad optimisation: Where you see fit and with approval, you will be required to access ad campaigns, move budgets around and request new creative to enhance performance
- Testing event tracking and goal tracking + Implementing and verifying goal tracking
- Staying up to date with the latest SEM and performance marketing strategies
- Calculating ROI where needed for clients
- Using analytics to analyse campaign performance - Reporting on this
- Implementing conversion rate optimisation (i.e. A/B, split-testing etc) to improve campaign performance
Requirements
- Candidate must have at least 2-3 years of related working experience in the paid media/advertising landscape
- Must be skilled and knowledgeable in working and managing Facebook Ads and Google Ads
- You love building, creating and optimising paid media ads
- You are not afraid of the advertising tools and technology and understand the necessary budget, placement and creative requirements for each type of ad you create
- You have high attention to detail and you're happy to communicate when things may be unclear
- You deeply understand the meaning and definition of the following words - CPC/CTR/CPM/CPA/ROAS/CPLPV/IMPRESSION SHARE
- You are comfortable working across many clients and accounts.
