Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of professional software engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong programming skills in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, TypeScript/Node)
Deep, hands-on expertise in authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0/2.1, OIDC, SAML)
Strong systems design and troubleshooting skills
Experience building and integrating with APIs and services (REST/RPC, webhooks)
Grounding in engineering quality practices: automated testing, code review, CI/CD, observability
Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and emerging AI-connector/gateway ecosystem
Proven use of AI tools to speed up engineering work
Track record of operating at a staff-level scope
Ability to lead and mentor other engineers.
Comfort working across diverse teams.
