About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead executive and internal communications workstreams for senior leaders and priority initiatives, developing clear, high-quality messaging aligned to company priorities, established policies and communications best practices.
- Draft and edit a range of materials including leadership messages, presentations, talking points, org updates, event remarks and communications for high-visibility and sensitive moments.
- Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, ABPs, Chiefs of Staff, HR and Communications teammates to align messaging, drive execution and support thoughtful decision-making.
- Build communications plans for internal moments including org updates, leadership engagements, change-related communications and company or team-wide events.
- Support communications planning and project management for major internal and external events, including executive visibility opportunities involving senior leaders.
- Establish and improve processes, templates, planning mechanisms and review workflows that increase consistency, quality and speed across executive and internal communications.
- Use AI and automation opportunities to improve team operations, reduce repeatable work and strengthen communications planning and execution at scale.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as communications or public relations.
- 6+ years of experience working on an in-house communications team or PR agency. Tech experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in executive communications, internal communications or strategic communications in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience working with C-suite executives or other senior leaders, including supporting high-visibility communications with sound judgment, discretion and attention to detail.
- Experience leading cross-functional work and building effective partnerships across teams such as Marketing, ABPs, Chiefs of Staff, HR and Communications.
- Experience project managing complex communications workstreams or events with multiple stakeholders, shifting timelines and high standards for execution.
- Experience supporting large-scale internal events or external events involving senior leaders, such as industry conferences, leadership summits or similar tentpole moments.
- Experience in media relations or external communications, including partnering with PR teams to support media prep, executive visibility or externally facing messaging.
