About the role
- Lead & Govern Channel Portfolio of Sites: Oversee day-to-day operations, health, and performance of Pinterest’s suite of marketing websites, ensuring each site is aligned to clear business goals and regularly exceeding performance benchmarks.
- Set Channel Strategy & Roadmaps: Define channel-specific strategies, goals, and operating plans in partnership with content, brand, design, engineering, and analytics leads. Translate business priorities into actionable channel roadmaps.
- Operationalize Optimization: Design and implement robust testing and optimization frameworks tailored to the needs of each site, using both quantitative analytics and qualitative insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Drive Project Prioritization: Build and socialize prioritization frameworks that clarify resource allocation across competing initiatives, and ensure visibility and accountability for delivery.
- Collaborate & Coordinate: Act as the chief integrator—coordinating stakeholder groups, from creative and engineering to marketing and analytics, orchestrating seamless execution, and scaling best practices and standards across all sites.
- Champion Audience-Centricity: Deeply understand and advocate for each site’s target audience, ensuring web content, journeys, and experiences reflect audience needs and preferences.
- Leverage Technology: Identify, implement, and optimize tools, platforms, and AI-powered solutions to enhance personalization, operational efficiency, measurement, and reporting.
- Ensure Compliance and Quality: Maintain rigorous governance for marketing sites—ensuring compliance with accessibility, privacy, legal, security, and brand standards.
- Deliver Insightful Reporting: Synthesize data and feedback into clear reporting, sharing insights and actionable recommendations with leadership and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing digital channels, websites, or portfolios, ideally in B2B, tech, media, or high-growth environments.
- Proven ability to run multiple web channels or sites with different business goals, target audiences, and KPIs.
- Expert in operationalizing and governing marketing sites: including resource planning, vendor management, budgeting, and compliance.
- Skilled in leveraging analytics and experimentation (A/B, user research, attribution) to drive informed decisions and consistent performance gains.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership: able to align stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and catalyze delivery.
- Track record of prioritizing and executing initiatives that deliver measurable business impact (growth, engagement, lead gen, brand visibility).
- Deep knowledge of digital content strategy, web design, UX best practices, CMS platforms, and web analytics tools.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
