Oversee deferred revenue accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Partner with stakeholder teams to ensure data relied upon for revenue accounting is accurate/complete.
Execute compliance with internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Support external audits by providing accurate and timely information.
Drive process improvements and automations within Revenue Operations to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Leverage AI-driven analytics and automation tools to streamline reconciliations, and improve the accuracy and scalability of deferred revenue accounting processes.
Perform special projects, as needed to support our rapid growth.

Requirements

Big 4 accounting firm (or similar) experience.
3+ years of Revenue accounting experience, in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP and the proven ability to research technical accounting topics.
Strong understanding of ASC 606.
Experience with Oracle R12, Salesforce.com or similar systems.
A master of details who can also understand the big picture.
Strong Excel skills, big plus if savvy with Tableau or other BI tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical issues into clear, actionable guidance.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and balance technical rigor with operational practicality.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
