About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the sales activities with existing Ookla clients
  • Act as client’s primary point for contract renewals and negotiations
  • Demonstrate product offerings and value proposition to customers
  • Develop and grow relationships across customer’s business and technical organizations
  • Educate and support clients to ensure optimum utilization of our product suite
  • Provide sales support to a customer base mostly of seasoned technical staff
  • Engage with Director and C-Level executives in support of business needs
  • Partner with technical account management team and sales directors
  • Champion and advocate for customer requirements within Ookla
  • Continually develop knowledge and application of new technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support client engagements
  • Experience in the Telecommunications market (fixed and/or mobile networks, access)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Sales or Business Development role
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strategic account planning and execution skills
  • Responsible, able to manage time effectively and work efficiently
  • Experience with negotiation of sales contracts with a consultative sales approach
  • Experience with crowdsourcing, benchmarking or customer experience management is a plus
  • Fluent in Portuguese is a plus
