About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure product and process quality across the value stream, including assembly, machining lines, and special processes
  • Inculcate a quality culture and zero-defect mindset
  • Accomplish and exceed customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with Production and other functions to drive continual improvement
  • Assure compliance with the quality system, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements
  • Coordinate with one SQ team for incoming quality performance and real-time closure of supplier quality concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, problem-solving techniques, IATF 16949, and auditing skills
  • Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC
  • 8–15 years of experience in automotive manufacturing quality, preferably in a Tier-1 automotive environment
  • Experience handling global OEM customers preferred
