About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure product and process quality across the value stream, including assembly, machining lines, and special processes
Inculcate a quality culture and zero-defect mindset
Accomplish and exceed customer satisfaction
Work closely with Production and other functions to drive continual improvement
Assure compliance with the quality system, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements
Coordinate with one SQ team for incoming quality performance and real-time closure of supplier quality concerns

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, problem-solving techniques, IATF 16949, and auditing skills
Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC
8–15 years of experience in automotive manufacturing quality, preferably in a Tier-1 automotive environment
Experience handling global OEM customers preferred
