About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensuring product and process quality across the value stream comprising Assembly, machining lines, and special processes.
Inculcating a Quality culture and zero-defect mindset.
Accomplishing and exceeding customer satisfaction and working closely with Production and other functions in driving continual improvement.
Assuring compliance to Quality system meeting the IATF 16949 and customer specific requirements.
Coordinating with one SQ team for incoming quality performance, real-time closure of supplier Quality concerns.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, Problem solving techniques, IATF 16949, auditing skills
Knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Control plan, MSA SPC
8–15 years of experience in automotive manufacturing quality preferably in a Tier-1 automotive environment.
Handling global OEM customers is preferred.
