About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work collaboratively within a small team of engineers, scientists, product managers and sales professionals.
  • Conduct foundational and evaluative research to glean insights that are concrete and valuable.
  • Develop highly detailed maps of user journeys and their interactions.
  • Craft compelling narratives about our users’ needs, attitudes, aspirations, expectations, obstacles, and motivations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a Masters or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, Social or Behavioral Sciences, or a related field
  • Familiarity with qualitative research methods and demonstrable experience conducting research projects
  • Comfort with design tools such as Figma, Lovable, UIzard, Airtable and Galileo
  • Expertise in qualitative research methods and frameworks, such as in-depth interviews, journey mapping, card sorting, or usability studies
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methods, including surveys and statistical analysis
  • Experience in a startup environment
  • A knack for getting to the heart of the matter, telling stories and being convincing—making the opaque feel obvious in hindsight.
